CD38, also known as cyclic ADP-ribose hydrolase, is a glycoprotein widely expressed on the surface of various cells. It plays a crucial role in immune system regulation, cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation. For instance, in lymphocytes, the expression level of CD38 is closely related to the activation state of the cells, and it is involved in the proliferation, differentiation, and cytokine secretion regulation of T cells and B cells.
