This article focuses on the molecular characteristics and biological functions of CD3 heterodimers, systematically elaborating the six-polypeptide chain composition of the CD3 protein complex and the structural organization of its three pairs of dimers (εγ, εδ, ζζ), analyzing the core roles of CD3εδ and CD3εγ heterodimers in ITAM signal transduction and T cell activation, and discussing the clinical application value of CD3 heterodimers as targets for bispecific antibody development.
