MFGE8
The role and related mechanisms of MFGE8 in autoimmune diseases
MFGE8 (milk fat globule epidermal growth factor 8), also known as FDC-M1 or lactate adhesive, is a secreted glycoprotein that plays an important role in immune regulation. It is widely expressed in various immune related cells, especially in follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) with high expression levels, providing an important cellular basis for its participation in immune tolerance maintenance and immune response regulation.
