从Eph系统看癌症的奥秘
The mystery of cancer from the perspective of the Eph system
发布时间 2025-04-28
Cancer is one of the major threats to global health today, and in the process of exploring its occurrence and development, scientists have gradually uncovered a key molecular mechanism - the Eph system. The Eph system consists of Eph receptor tyrosine kinases and their ligands, ephrin. Since the first Eph receptor was discovered about 35 years ago, more and more evidence has shown that it plays an important role in the development and progression of cancer.

LERK-3 protein, also known as Ephrin-A3, is a member of the Eph family of receptor tyrosine kinases. The Eph family is the largest subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases and plays crucial roles in mediating developmental events, particularly in the nervous system and erythropoiesis. LERK-3 protein, as a ligand for Eph receptors, is involved in cell-cell signaling, adhesion, and migration.
