Course Details

Th17 polarization refers to the process by which naive CD4+ T cells differentiate into Th17 cells under the induction of cytokines such as IL-6 and TGF-β. This process is orchestrated by transcription factors like RORγt. Differentiated Th17 cells primarily secrete cytokines such as IL-17 and IL-22, playing a pivotal role in the body's anti-infective immunity and inflammatory responses. Dysregulated Th17 polarization is closely associated with the development and progression of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
