Course Details
The CIPP chromatography strategy (Capture-Intermediate Purification-Polishing) is a classic three-step method for protein purification.
- Capture: Affinity chromatography is used to rapidly isolate and concentrate the target protein and stabilize the product.
- Intermediate Purification: Ion-exchange chromatography and hydrophobic interaction chromatography are applied to remove bulk impurities such as host proteins and nucleic acids.
- Polishing: Gel filtration chromatography is used to remove residual trace impurities, achieving final high purity.
