Promising Target Proteins
CTLA-4: CTLA-4 is an important immune checkpoint protein that inhibits excessive T-cell activation by binding to CD80/CD86, thereby reducing inflammatory responses. Abatacept, a CTLA-4-based fusion protein drug, has been approved for the treatment of moderately to severely active RA patients.
